Anyone know where the fire is up the Dublin road area. Hear a load of fire engines there and a lot of smoke up that way

There was a bus hit the bridge in Laytown earlier. It was hardly that, that they were going for was it??

    Came on to ask.

Looked to be either St Mary's or right behind the school. Was coming home that way and all you could see was thick yellow smoke coming from behind the school. Could have been a house behind it though...

Maybe someone lit the dale on fire again, they did that last year. I assume you mean the secondary school and not the church?

it was behind hazel lane, must have been the dale because it looked as if it was behind the houses

Saw a fire truck on the bottom green in Meadowview around 5 o'clock (no idea how it got in there, passed the bollards, but that's another story) however the smoke was coming from the direction of the estate behind Staffords.

Bush fire behind the Rugby pitch near Five Oaks. Think it used to be Delvin Rugby Club or whatever they are called now. I actually saw a group of kids heading up that way about ten minutes before it started. Same idiots that have covered the clubhouse in grafetti.

There was another big fire in the town last night up beside The Fishermans Wharf around midnight. The flames looked huge at one point from the Rathmullen Road.
