eircom calling to door

    Just had two people calling to the door from eircom saying they were were going to check to see if we were entitled to a reduction in our bill. Eircom is not my name so the said they would come back when girlfried is at home and asked would she have a bill ready so they can check if we are entitled. Is this legit.

    yes it is possible that these were eircom sales agents and it is possible that they may be able to offer reduction in bills see this response to your other post.
    Make sure that you are satisfied as to the validity of the identification offered. If you have any doubts but would like to avail of any reductions mentioned just call our customer service on 1901 and they can arrange changes for you. If you have any further query post me here.
