That leaves Chandlery ( Goodwood 2.35) out who I would normally back but he has a tough race. Royal Reveille was another I considered in the 3.35 at Galway as well as Spirit of Adjisa in the 2.00 at Goodwood.

I'll see how things are shaping up. Later I also like Valencha in the 5.30 at Goodwood and Intyre Trail in the 6.00 at Galway.

In the big one Blazing Tempo, Majestic Concorde and Wise Old Owl have all had their fair share of tipsters.

I have had a small bet on Dancing Tornado in the plate, I know he doesn't win as often as he should but I'm hoping things go right for him today. Remember he was 1 of only 2 horses to finish in front of Gold Cup hero Long Run (albeit receiving a lot of weight)

That' actually a nice e/w as paddy powers are paying five places. it should at least place and I've always had a soft spot for that horse, think ill trow a small e/w on as well.

anyone any opinion on backing anything but frankel or canford cliffs, in the 3:10 the odds are huge , my head says no way but anything can happen just wondering if anyone has backed anything but frankel or cannford.

Some ride thought it would be much closer myself. cannford had no response at all.

He couldn't even get close to him. Look at the way he finished. Look at how short and tired Canford's strides were. Frankel could have gone full pelt for another furlong I'd say.

1 winner, 1 3rd and 3 2nds so far = a very frustratin day
I should probably back e/w more often, but I staked €40 and got back €40.50 (not includin the Gary O Brien tip that won) so I guess it could of been much worse.

1 horse left but I'm not very hopeful, it's been that kinda day.
