From next week the pay parking will change in Celbridge.:D
Saturday parking will be free and from monday to friday pay between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Christmas week will be free.
It is a compromise and will hopefully get people out and about again.

    That's great news !

Let hope they do something similar in Liexlip , the stupid disc parking there is unreal and for sure killing the town.

they could do with changing the signs and machines. they are still set to the old way. i saw people buying parking tickets at the weekend.

Great though that they've changed to free parking at the weekend

Yes they are very lax with changing the signs.
Also the parking changes seem to be only the Main Street.

in fairness, a lot of shops now have signs up telling of the changes

bad form if the car park at celbridge abbey still charges on weekends

Dragging up an old thread here just to see if these times are still in operation? Is it still until 4pm Mon-Fri? Some clear signs might help, the one in the Abbey Car Park has never been changed.

Not sure about the Abbey Car Park but the Main Street remains as above.
