Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

    Please be nice, this is my first post in this forum :). I'm hoping someone can help me out here. A friend of mine is coming to Galway for the weekend with his girlfriend. She's a big fan of motorbikes and he is looking for someone with spare leathers, helmet and ideally a bike of 700cc or more to take her out for a spin as a surprise on Saturday (July 30th). She has a bike herself and is fully licensed.

    Can anyone here help and if not, does anyone know of anywhere near Galway (within reason) that rents bikes?

    You'll pay some money to rent a bike out in fairness.

    @ OP, I'd PM galwaytt. He drives a Harley but don't let that put you off :D I don't know him personally or anything but seeing his posting on here, he seems like a happy-to-help kinda guy. You'll find that bikers are usually very happy to assist other bikers...
