Family cycling routes

Hi, Heading to Banna the weekend with bikes in tow. Can anyone recommend any good cycling routes? Is the Gap of Dunloe open to cars or would it at least be safe enough for a family cycle? Anywhere really that wouldn't have heavy traffic! Thanks!
