Med student Holiday work

Can anyone tell me if there are jobs available for med students during the summer? I am thinking of doing the Nurse on Call course to work as a Carer in hospitals but was wondering if med students are allowed to work in clinics or elsewhere during the holidays.

You could apply to do research. A lot of research isn't paid, unless you manage to get funded. But there are also some researchers who will take you on and pay you, not a lot but enough to live on -not all about money though it's about the experience
