Building first ever gaming pc.... Need help

Hi everyone, in about 1 month I'll be ordering parts for my first gaming pc and i need some help picking parts . I have a budget of 850euro, I dont need monitor/keyboard/mouse but I will need a copy of windows . I only know a little about pc's and I'm not sure about Ram/Psu/motherboard . I have a budget of 850euro, I dont need monitor/keyboard/mouse but I will need a copy of windows . I only know a little about pc's and I'm not sure about Ram/Psu/motherboard . I would though like to have a i5 2005k processor and a ATI radeon 6970 gpu if my budget would allow it. I also don't plan to overclock to much so the standard CPU heatsink would do. I'm not in the market for a SSD because there a little bit to expensive write now . This machine will only be used for gaming . Any help would be greatly appreciated . Thanks

The Asgard is a nice enough case for a low budget build, but the Fractal R3 is definitely worth it.

With a build like this how do you think it would do against games like Crysis1/witcher/BF3 ?

I'm just looking at the build you gave me and you said the copy of windows is in germen . So to get that to work all I'd have to do is download the file on a different computer then copy that to USB/disk and then put that in the drive and use the key I have .

Yep, its as easy as that. Last time I checked they were charging €30 more for the english version :eek:

After looking at yours and burgo's builds. I decided to mix between both by keeping your case and changing the Mobo and GPU to burgo's so I can crossfire. So I'm wondering would this all work together ? . Plus would I need to change the Psu if I wanted to crossfire? Thanks.....

Yeah, post up what you are thinking of combining. You can add everything you want to cart and use Fluffy's script to organise it neatly for posting.

You'd want a 650W PSU for two 6870s. A good 650W one - e.g., the superflower amazon or better.
