I got a bag of Ballycotton Queen's this week as my husband loves them.

But I've no idea how best to cook them. I know you just scrub them. Normally I just cut up and chuck into boiling water.

Should I steam them instead? If so, how long for?

    TIA :)

Personality I prefer them steamed. 25 -30 mins should do it depending on their size. Stick a knife in them and you will know when they are done.

Or if your husband loves them that much tell him to cook them himself :-)

Steam them until you can stick a knife into them easily.

meh...I always use a small sharp pointed knife myself. A blunt rounded knife can take too much effort and split the potato in half
