Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, Hope someone can help. Trying to set up my iol.ie email account on a HTC desire S (Meteor) phone but cant get the outgoing server to work.
The incoming server works fine pop.iol.ie / port 110 / security = none.
I have tried many combinations for the outgoing server but no luck.
Can someone advise me on what settings to use?

    Thanks.

    Should be mail.iol.ie / port 25 /security = none.

You'll only be able to send email through IOL's mail server if your phone is actually connected to an IOL (now owned by Vodafone) network at the time, though. If you're connected via a different ISP, you'll either have to use one of that ISP's outgoing mail servers instead, or a third-party one -- I have a Gmail account as well, so I use Gmail's outgoing server when I can't use IOL's.

All IOL accounts belong to Vodafone now, so try their support pages I guess: http://www.vodafone.ie/helpsupport/
