Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

the IOP is usually recommended around here.

my opinion is you are better off hanging around the forum, asking questions, turning up to meet ups and reading up about stuff online and trying it yourself.

read a few books, watch some tutorials...get out there and practice/shoot .... the more you know your camera the more you tend to learn.

a lot of courses only give you information that you can find online - granted they give it to you in an organised format and sometimes explain it to you so you can actually understand it.

    What ^^^ he said.

You can also look at joining a local camera club. For the cost of a course you will get a years membership (and change) Then you will be able to learn from others there. There will also be talks and workshops to help you. It's not as structured as a course and you have to get involved. There are a fair few clubs around Dublin, but you would be welcome as a visitor to any of them.
