Midleton _ Badly dDamaged pillar at the entrance to Broomfield Village

    Has anyone else spotted that one of the pillars at the entrance to Broomfield Village is really badly damaged ?? (Entrance at the Mill Road side of Midleton). It is the pillar on the left as you go into Broomfield and it looks like it is ready to fall over.
    I phoned Cork County Council, seeing as McInerneys are now gone bust, but they don't look after Broomfield (Neither do Midleton Town Council!) Has anyone else been in touch with anywhere or know who this should be reported to? It is a big pillar - if it collapses towards the footpath when someone is walking past they could really get hurt. Or a car would be damaged if it falls out onto the road.
