dublin bus on bank holidays?

    does anyone know if dublin bus runs a full service on bank holidays and if they dont is it a sunday service? what time will the first bus be running at on monday?

    It tends to be a Sunday service.

    Dublin Bus wishes to advise customers that due to a number of sporting events there will be diversions on Routes 4, 7, 45a, 46a, 59, 63 and 75 on Sunday 31st July and Monday 1st August 2011.

    Dublin Bus wishes to advise customers that due to the Dun Laoghaire 10k Road Race on Monday 1st August 2011 from 10:00hrs to 12:30hrs, Routes 4, 7, 45a, 46a, 59, 63 and 75 will have the following diversions;

    Route 4
    Operating to and from old terminus at Stradbrook / Abbey Rd.

    Route 7
    Towards Loughlinstown / Cherrywood
    Normal route to Temple Hill then via Stradbrook Rd., Abbey Rd. Roundabout, Bakers Corner, Rochestown Ave., left onto Sallynoggin Rd., right onto Pearse St. and back onto normal route.

    Towards City Centre
    Normal route to Sallynoggin Church / Pearse St. then left onto Sallynoggin Rd., right onto Rochestown Ave., Bakers Corner, Abbey Rd., Stradbrook Rd., Temple Hill and back onto normal route.

    Route 45a
    Towards Dun Laoghaire
    Normal route to Rochestown Ave., at junction Rochestown / Sallynoggin Rd. junction, continue towards Bakers Corner, Abbey Rd. and terminate at last bus stop before Abbey Rd. Roundabout.

    Towards Ballywaltrim
    Turning at the roundabout on Abbey Rd., for Bakers Corner, towards Rochestown Ave. and back onto normal route.

    Route 46a
    Towards Dun Laoghaire
    Normal route to Bakers Corner then left onto Abbey Rd. and terminate at last bus stop before Abbey Rd. Roundabout.

    Towards Phoenix Park
    Turning at the roundabout on Abbey Rd., for Bakers Corner, right onto Kill Ave. and back onto normal route.

    Route 59
    Towards Dun Laoghaire
    Buses will terminate at Killiney Hill beside Druids pub bus stop.

    Towards Mackintosh Park
    Departing from Killiney Hill beside Druids pub bus stop.

    Route 63
    Towards Dun Laoghaire
    Normal route to Bakers Corner then left onto Abbey Rd. and terminate at last bus stop before Abbey Rd. Roundabout.

    Route 75
    Towards Kilternan
    Turning at the roundabout on Abbey Rd., for Bakers Corner, right onto Kill Ave. and back on to normal route.

    Towards Tallaght
    Turning at the roundabout on Abbey Rd., for Bakers Corner, right onto Kill Ave. and back on to normal route.

    They're not even running a full service on normal weekdays anymore!

    crap! so the first bus wont be at 6:15, it will be at 9am or something like that?

    Correct - but look up the timetable on www.dublinbus.ie as some routes start around 08:00.

    thanks but that is still too late, i have to be in town to get another bus up the north for 7am. looks like im walking in.
