Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There are a good few places with live music in the city. If you're just looking for a pub, the White Hart Inn in the grassmarkets is generally a good place. Can be any type of music, although they might go a bit touristy focused during August.

The most famous, and worth checking out, is Sandy Bells. They have lots of trad and lots of locals and tourists, although it is tiny and can be difficult to hear the music depending on where you are.

For a late venue there is The Jazz Bar on chambers st, great live music every night and a laid back atmosphere and I think they stay open late. (Also, check out Mother India across the street if you want an amazing indian meal and the royal oak next door to it can have live music also.)

If you're looking for a club then Whistlebinkies is probably the best bet for late live music, a couple of different bands and a good mix of people. Its normally free before 12 but its not expensive.
