PC completely f&cked all of a sudden

    Hi my pc is fuct all of a sudden
    Win 7 sixty four bit version
    6 gb ram i7 processor
    Slow and crashes over nothing
    I never go onto dodgy sites very careful with what I dl
    I don't understand it - writing this on my iPod
    Currently doing an AVG scan on safe mode
    Any thing else I can add here ? I don't know where a virus would cone from
    I never go to dodgy sites all my tv films is from newsgroups
    - but today I did use bit torrent fir a while - could that be it ?

    Is ubuntu available in 64 bit version ?
    I migt just change - convinced thuis is a Microsoft timed bug

    Give Malwarebytes a go in safe mode aswell and one of the AntiVirus companies online scanners, Trend Micro or Kasperskys maybe.

    Yup you can get Ubuntu in 64 bit :) welcome to the brightside :D

    As suggested, download, update and run MalwareBytes. If nothing is found, you can try running a sytem restore.

    Thanks guys, have returned to some normality after doing a scan in safe mode - might also give malware bytes a go - anyway whatever happens after this i will do a dual boot with Ubuntu :)
