What dongle to use with voda payg sim?

Just thinking that it would be handy to have one of these - for the odd time when it's necessary. Does it matter what dongle I use?

Anyone any ideas on this? Can I just go out and buy any dongle...or any 'unlocked' dongle? If there's a choice, does it matter which make/model of dongle I use (ie. is one better than the other)?
