    :confused:I make it 24.5c at the moment, is this correct? my thermometer is in its usual north facing location well away from direct sunlight.
    This is by far the warmest day of the summer then.

    Just had the heaviest shower of rain iv seen in years in Edenderry. The rain drops were like hail. Very warm and humid before and after, a lovely day other than the monsoon shower.

    That's the same shower I'm looking at at home not far from Enfield so. The drops look massive

    Thermometer read 23 about 3 hours ago in Athlone. Was quite breezy and showery all day, and then the sun popped out. Was great!

    somehow its still dry and a bit sunny here in north east meath, the showers on met eireanns radar chart seems to break up before they get here.
