Got my first Train set this weekend, The Caledonian Belle.
Hoping to keep adding on with track packs and scenery over the next few months.

Any helpful hints and tips on how to upgrade and were to source the cheapest 00 gauge tracks and trains would be gratefully appreciated.

Will be building my first baseboard next week and aim to complete the default track mat with tracks and scenery.

This is all i have for now,. Not a lot but its a start :D

Some of the local shows can be good for getting packs of track cheap. (Dun Laoghaire this weekend)

Otherwise big box shifters like Hattons in Liverpool or Rails of Sheffield are your best bet to get cheaper stuff.
