Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    My home buildings and contents insurance is up for renewal with the BofI. Took it out 10 years ago along with the mortage.

    The quote this year was €746 pa for accidental damage buildings €190K and accidental damage contents €60K which dropped to €705 after a phone call.

    So I gave FBD a call and they linked the same policy building and contents to the farm multipeirl for the princley sum of €330 pa, and will even do it pro rata along with the multipeirl.

    Shop around for everything its worth it!

    We have ours from AIB at €320. Building rebuild valued at €300k. €80k for contents. It includes accidental damage. We also have €20k worth of specific items named - wedding & engagement rings, jewellery, laptop, tv's etc. Our garage is also covered under the policy.

    Try them before you commit to FBD.
