    Hi All,

    If you're looking for something to shake off the cobwebs after the weekend, a friend of mine is organising a charity night in aid of the Food Crisis in East Africa tonight in Whelan's.

    A few events will be taking place. There will be an open mic to start. Anybody who would like to sing few songs or play few tunes is welcome to perform. Following this there will be performances from two fine comedians, Enda Whitney and Trevor Browne. The night finishes off with a set from DJ M Sykes. A suggested donation of €10 on the night, with all money raised going to the Irish Red Cross East Africa food crisis emergency fund.
