Hi there, New to boards so apologies if im in the wrong place here.

Me and a group of friends are looking to go camping in courttown or anywhere really that that is by the beach. We went to Brittas Bay last year and its somewhere similar we are looking for - nice beach with a close-by wide open space that is suitable and safe for camping. Parking close by too. Not really looking for somewhere that attracts families!

Any help would be much appreciated.

Generally no camping is allowed by beaches in the County, however if you approach a local farmer who's land is by the sea he may give you permission.
Your only alternative if not is to use the local caravan parks/campsites in the area but these charge for the pitch but do supply ammenities such as washing facilities etc. Plus they offer peace of mind that some gurrier isn't going to rob your gear or worse.
