    hi im looking for a place to stay for 2 months the start of november to january in dublin around chatham street or near there as il be doing a course there for the 2 months , if anybody knows of any good websites or anything to point me in the right direction, budget is 300 pm . thanks :)

    have tired daft.ie and there is nothing there

    I'm afraid your budget is unrealistic for Dublin 2 or even anywhere on the Luas line, if you want a room of your own. It is a really short tenancy. It is just not worth anyone's while letting to you.

    A hostel might be an option. You would have the advantage of having to only pay for the days that you were actually there, which is a big saving over the Christmas period. It might be bearable, if you could arrange that you were only there Monday-Thursday.

    Now, you might find a room in a house share that suits, but you'd be very lucky.
