What can I do with 5000

Hiya guys. At present I have 5000 which is doing absolutly sweet feck all. Just wondering what is the best option to actually see some return on it. Obviously 5000 isn't much when it comes to interest return. I am currently with BOI and have an account with the credit union

If you can leave it for a while (3 to 5 years) why not check www.statesavings.ie for Bonds/Certs.
