Meteor €20 free every month (is it forever or for 1 year - misleading website)

    I dont suppose anybody knows whether users who ported over to Meteor avail of the €20 free credit each month (with a €20 topup) for life or is it just for an initial 12 months?

    I ask this to all the boardsies out there because the guys on Meteor's customer care team dont know - seriously! I have been told its for a year by 2 staff, and another told me it was forever!

    Looking at Meteors website doesnt help - one some page's it states for 1 year - €240 (http://www.meteor.ie/plans/) while other pages state it for life (http://www.meteor.ie/support/onlinestorefaqs/call_credit/ & http://www.meteor.ie/pay-as-you-go/move-to-meteor/)

    Quiet confusing - but do any of you guys know? Meteor's forum seems to be terrible - not much activity on there and when there is a post it goes unanswered.

    It clearly says 'forever', I wouldn't be happy if it ceased after 12 months..

    Confirmed -


    The Credit Offer involves the application of €20 extra credit (the “Bonus Credit”) to Eligible Customers who top up their Meteor pre-pay account by €20 in one go in any calendar month, for as long as they remain a Meteor prepaid customer.
    The Credit Offer is available to new prepaid customers to the Meteor network who have purchased a new Meteor prepaid account between the 1st of April 2011 and the 31st of July 2011....

    Ouch.

    Agreed, I would not be happy also, but as you can see 1 of the links states that its up to €240! Crazy

    Also in the terms and conditions it states it only applies up to July 31st, so is it over! I emailed Meteor to find out so il let you know
