Norton is constantly popping up saying blocked attack

    I was trying to download Inception off a free movie site and tried to install a plugin Norton said was safe, i was on a few sites though. Now it is constanly (i mean constant, i x out of it, it comes straight back) popping up saying 'Norton blocked an attack by: HTTP Adware Installer File Download.
    What am i supposed to do? Im getting worried, any help is welcome :)
    EDIT- It's stopped now, if anybody can explain though please do :)

    probably malware, would be a good idea to run this to be safe


    Download OTL to your Desktop
    • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
    • Click the Quick Scan button. Do not change any settings. The scan wont take long.
    • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
    • Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files here
