Best off contract bill pay smartphone plan, three seems to win by a mile?

The missus has an iphone 3gs that's coming off a €60 pm contract soon. She's happy to keep the phone and not upgrade for the time being so I'm looking around for the best plan. It seems that the best plan by a long shot is the three with their Classic Flex Max plan for €30 pm with unlimited* data and free landline calls.…

The missus has an iphone 3gs that's coming off a €60 pm contract soon. She's happy to keep the phone and not upgrade for the time being so I'm looking around for the best plan.

It seems that the best plan by a long shot is the three with their Classic Flex Max plan for €30 pm with unlimited* data and free landline calls. The next best is emobile at €44 a month. O2 is still at €60.

I have a desire hd with three and the coverage and speed in our area is fine and the customer support hasn't been an issue. O2 has black spots as well and their speed isn't as good.

It just seems a bit crazy to me that the other operators are so far off. Is there something I'm missing? I don't want to come off as a shill for three!
