Server room cooling

    Hi Guys,

    Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good floor standing cooling system for a Server room in our office.
    At the moment we have 2 air conditioner s that keep the room at in about 26 degrees but they work like maniacs at it.
    Constantly freezing up etc.
    The heat output for the room is around 30,000 BTUs
    I would like to replace these two dogs with one unit that can keep the room cool with out having to be switched off to thaw out

    Hi Shane,

    We recently had a similar issue. We have two 5Kw units which were struggling to keep the room cool. In the end we have decided to put in a 2nd (3rd) ceiling 15 Kw unit which is now the primary unit for the room. Should it fail the other two units kick in and keep the room somewhat cool.

    Those floor standing units were too expensive for us. They still need vent shafts and all that craic.

    Thanks for the reply.
    We may be moving building later in the year so no one wants to spend any money on upgrading the server room too much.
    We have some venting already out of the room.
    Do you have a link to any models you were considering by any chance?
