    hi guys just looking to find out some info, if anyone has a basic straight answer it would be much appreciated,

    myself and my girlfriend are expecting a baby in march and we are currently in a house share with two other people, renting. Because of the arrival we need to sort a place of our own to rent, we are both on casual dockets and are not claiming rent allowance but will have to when the baby arrives, does anyone know what we will be entitled too??? also.... in our area houses are 650 and up to rent per month and this as startled us severly, so the uneasy feeling at the moment is not cool, just wondering will they means test us and limit us to a certain amount rent allowance and be forced to live in a dingy damp flat??? anyone able to help?? preferably no mumbo jumbo copy and paste crap , a straight answer will do...
