Travelling to Sydney for Month of Jan - Accommodation ideas

    Hi,

    So I'm taking a full month off work in January 2012 and travelling to Oz for a family holiday with my wife and 2 kids - 8 + 4.

    We have friends and family in Sydney but think that it's too much to camp in someone's house for a month. Has anyone any ideas / contacts / recommendations for accommodation for 2 adults and 2 kids for the month of Jan. Not picky about location and totally understand that it's peak season (unfortunately it's Jan or not at all). Ideally looking for an apartment or small house that won't break the bank. Any good websites?
