I loved Maverick bars, I remember asking for a load of them for christmas years ago. I remember the TV ad was a guy eating parts off a car.

Lucky charms are available in jc's in swords for 4.99 and they also have willy wonka gobstoppers etc and wouldn't be surprised if they got some vanilla or cherry coke in some time.
Sometimes you can even get 24 half litre bottles of soft drinks for 3 or 4 euro. Always great deals goin.

    Ah, JC's is great.

As long as you started with plain, lightly salted crisps it would work. The foundation's been laid by chocolate pretzels.

    Busker bars.

Kinda like a penguin bar except the biscuit was hollowed out and filled with chocolate rather than the chocolate being between 2 biscuits.Used to turn up regularly in my lunch box in primary school.

I can't get Barry's Earl Grey tea anywhere, the same with Robert Roberts. The only one that seems to be on the shelves is Twinings which is just not the business.

You can still get Tipsy Cake! Tea Time Express on Talbot Street, Dublin sell it. :)

    These!

But most of all, Jolt Cola. I've been scouring town for it but just can't get it anymore. A while back I found two cans of their orange cola and I got so excited that I didn't take a note of the place or even the street.

It wasn't the stuff I want though, so all it did was remind me :(

In Ireland, Jolt Cola is sold in 500 ml bottles in most Eurospars and Dunne's Stores, it is also very popular in colleges and is sold in the Dublin Institute of Technology's (DIT) student unions.

I have a vivid memory of being told I had to give up sweets for Lent every year. One year, I decided to get a large sweet container from my local shop & still buy the sweets whenever I could, I'd just store them instead ;) Problem was, my sister was robbing stuff whenever she got a chance  I ended up on Easter Sunday with pretty much a tub full of Pink Panthers & nothing else!

Edit: Boyf wwants me to put in that he would please like a campaign to bring back HB Big Foot ice creams!:pac:

Captain Quencher + Rocket ice pops (think rocket was the name of them, they had chocolate on the top of them).

    Postman Pat sweets

Also Fizz Bombs I think they were called, they were chewing gum in the shape of different fruits filled with sour fizz, they'd blow the head off ye :)

Thinking about it, anyone here remember the slurpies from 7/11? they were sorta like slush puppies, guaranteed "ice cream" headache :)
