Support for 8 metre wall

We have finally decided where the extension will be going (right along the side of the house) hope to get started on the foundations in the next week, I have been looking for flaws in our plan and one I am worried about is that the longest wall (single leaf with timber frame) will be 8 metres long, is there anything needed to support such a long wall. Would it be a good idea to run some blocks perpendicular in the middle of it all just for a bit of support.

    Cheers

Any chance of a plan sketch?
