Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Two questions:
What sort of money could i expect to pay for 250kg whitehead heifers in October?
When would i have them finished if i gave them a good wintering?

Unless there is a major financial meltdown, I guess somewhere between 500 and 600, depending on quality. But then again I could be talkin sh1te:confused::confused: What market do you want to finish them for, butcher or factory?

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Butcher, something around the 280kg mark deadweight.
I'll be meadowing half as much next year so i need something to graze over and above my normal numbers.
