Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey all,

    Just starting this thread to hopefully gather some useful feedback on a new website that's currently in the works.

    To begin with I have to state that this is NOT a copy of YouTube, it can be considered more of a community addon. A forum with support topics with tips and tricks on how new and old members of YouTube can improve their video editing techniques, Top 20,30,40,50 YouTube videos etc.

    A promotion section where new upcoming talent that would otherwise go unnoticed in the swarm of new videos each day can get a heads start with some exposure.

    Professional and Free services section where people who want more of a professional touch to their videos can have Intros made for them etc.

    I have a separate system attached to the forum which allows Videos to be submitted to any selected category with ratings and comments. (all hosted on YouTube)

    Also considering giving select YouTube channels their own forum section where they can take advantage of better features to chat and promote their videos. "Better" as in more advanced then what YouTube offers for static discussion.

    I have quite a good top level Domain registered, the site is still in design mode with no content so I won't be sharing the address just yet.

    This is a massive job to take on by myself, If things work out well I'd be seeking "Staff" members in the future to help Moderate the Board and Video system. So any like minded individuals who would be interested and have spare time please let me know

    I hope I explained it correctly and gave the proper image of what I'm trying to do here so any advice or additions anyone feels would work well with such a site please share!
