Some of these lads are well hard, throwing plastic bottles that land 50 feet from the police.

Tough job for the small number of police to manage. The number of yobs seems to be growing steadily. And to think this is all happening during the day so can only imagine how much the violence will increase when it gets dark.

Those bean bag guns they use in america should be given to the police and let them fire at will. Put notes on them saying that the bullets are coming next if they are still out rioting when the bean bags run out. See how many hang around.

Horrible horrible for her. No fear like the one for your kids as you well know. Just keep in touch with her as much as you can.

We'll all be rooting it settles down.

Keep an eye out on Ebay for a "slightly riot damaged" blue Laguna estate in the next few days. That car isnt going to last long there.

It sad that the bleedin heart brigade have frightened police from doing their jobs.
They should be able to plough into them and get them off the streets so people can get home from work and go about their business safely. Shower of bastards.

This is the kind of people that are being affected, the decent and innocent general public. The rioter and looters dont care for any cause apart from their own egos.

Hope her and the family stay safe Biggins.

Its when it gets dark that is the worry.
Using the cover of darkness, they will feel they can get away with a lot more.

Best thing they can do is stay in the vans and just drive at the rioters.

Bloody terrible. Im gutted for you . You all must be nervous as hell.
Sad when little children are frightened needlessly. Gods sakes what is wrong with people.Terrorising their own neighbourhood., or any neighbourhood for that matter. I really hope the police can end this soon. Its going on way too long.

As I said before we'll all be rooting for you and Biggins and the family.

They should be fine if they stay indoors - and she (and the kids) will.
The only risk is that as two nights ago, a building catches fire and spreads to an adjacent block, etc.
Other than that, I think she should be ok.

    Ya kidding?
If they went in, the PR brigade would come out and start claiming "heavy-handedness".
You can't win when it come to dealing with this rioting/stealing scum!

they should get the army in & run the fcukers out of it.

Good old fashioned batton charge would do the trick,no need for the army, only undermines public confidence in the Police.
