Cameron has met with COBRA to try to see how to handle the rioting.

0119: The Met has fresh advice to the owners of businesses in London on how to deal with disorder.
It says they don't have to wait to be attacked to use "defensive force" to protect their premises and can "use something to hand as a weapon" if they feel it's necessary "in the heat of the moment".

it's wrong alright, but if they felt it necaserry to lodge that bullet in the aftermath to attempt justify it and escape prosecution despite the fact the yoof was brandishing a gun.. I wonder why. hothead yoof with pistol got shot by authorities; end-of. Good message to put out there.

Except the message (but more the act itself) is the initial catalyst for all this...
As for planting bullet? Doubt it...ricochet, loose round or pass through more likely...Duggan took one to the thorax, other round in a colleagues radio...who got taken to hospital homself...maybe there's the reason for the makey uppy stuff...another cop hit with a stray round, so everyone automatically thinks it's the suspect's gun....maybe the whole thing is innocent. Right now it doesn't matter.

always felt I was more of a natural Muslim because I hate drinking am weary of bacon brain bacteria and smoke like a trooper!

I think they have smoking emporiums out that way as opposed to slosh house? .. n the drinkers are marginalized as opposed to smokers I like that.. turn it up. Right up my alley. Used to enjoy sitting out front on the Edgware rd w/ em and smoking waccy baccy through a hookah, great bunch of lads! Filthy f*cking indigenous chav majority general population...

Those are all choices made by the common person, however all anyone has said from government is that these people should be made fear the laws, the selfsame laws that didn't deter them one iota to begin with. Frightening stuff, and one wonders what will change in the aftermath of this

They're always be scum on this earth lad. How you react to it is the mark of the man.

I know, I completely agree. What I mean is, how can one react? What policies have failed, what can be changed? How can a certain section of society's anger and resentment be cured if they haven't a reason to be angry, or a particular resentment?

I would never condone this ****e, I can hear a helicopter and am keeping an eye on twitter out of fear or confusion I guess.

****, the sky looks blue there, i better get to bed for reals....

Yep, I think they are not live anymore for the time being.

I liked when the presenter was interviewing people and a man in the crowd would chant a word and everyone else chanted after him.

Is that why the sky is blue?

Did it end tonight? Haven't been home, so I haven't been following what's been happening.

What's been going on in London has been an absolute disgrace. Sheer opportunism and nothing else. If these people cared so much about their working class communities, they wouldn't be trying to burn them to the ground and stealing from hard-working locals. Seeing people terrified like this is very upsetting. Kids with nothing better to do, that's all it is.

Usually I wouldn't be in support of the level of force the Spanish police use, but I can't help but think that something like this would never have happened in somewhere like Madrid - there'd be rubber bullets out on the first night. The situation in London has really made me realise that sometimes the police really do just need to beat certain people off the streets in order to keep the peace for the majority who are scared and don't want to be embroiled in this bullsh*t.

The stupid f*cking kids at the forefront of this should be ashamed of themselves.

I am sick of these kind of comments:
Anyone involved in this looting!! your getting charged with commercial burglary which carries a sentence of up to 10 years
    .
That is ludicrous, unless they are going to build another few prisons in the next few weeks. Prisons are as overcrowded in England as they are here.

Still no conformation on whether it is related to the riots or not.

    Not much rioting on tonight.

Let's have a Christianity vs. everybody else war instead.

    That'll show em.

    heyho.

I don't know is that good news or not because Im thinking if these youths are in the groups like they are, fighting their violence with violence might end in someone getting killed.

Wouldn't mind breaking a few of these youths kneecap's with a shiny baseball bat tho..

Buy why is the sky really blue?

Is it because a God chose that colour for the sky, or is it merely a result of the big bang, or both?

    **JOKE**

    Okay, i'm gone! Good night.

it does. I think chav culture is confined to a strip of Europe encompassing here, uk, holland, Germany, and on into eastern Europe and Russia.. "Eurotrash" basically. Rave culture, bolstered by the gunz n fronting of the rap. Gotta be hip to the hop, daddi-o
That's at least twice you have mentioned rave and rap/hip hop as a cause of scumbags/chavs. Are you serious or joking? I liked rave back in the 90s and still look fondly back at oldschool rave and still enjoy it today, I was never a scumbag.
If you are one of those people who think films/computer games/music turn people into scumbags/criminals and porn turns people into sex offenders then maybe you should emmigrate to the southern states of america or maybe try to think a bit more deeply. It might hurt your brain but it may prevent your opinions hurting other people's brains.

You can't cure it, how do you cure football hooligansim?

You do the best, give them as many opportunities as you can and stop blaming races!

ricochet; got it .. hacksaw jim should have stuck to a 2x2 tbh, wouldn't got shot, innit. :D distaste.

Two rounds...one mortally wounds suspect, one lodged in police radio...none fired from suspects weapon...both rounds police issue.
Now either it's a ricochet, stray or pass through....or else there was a grassy knoll.

Not defending him carrying a gun but not condoing shooting someone just because they have one either...
...and again none of us are in posesssion of all the facts.
