    Speaking as a pure, die-hard lefty, the people who did this are mere bullies and scum. No matter what anyone says, these riots have have been driven by pure greed and a sick desire for some excitement.

    This is these people repay a "caring society", they throw it back in your face at the first opportunity. The problem is with them, not everyone else.

    I'm tired of all the bull**** about the underlying causes of this riot. The people rioting are nothing but thieves, vandals and scumbags. Nothing they have done has shown any inkling of political motivation. Robbing people and burning them out of their homes is criminal and nothing more. Cut their welfare and trhow them in prison. Police brutality? Opression? The people throwing these words around have no idea what they are talking about. They should try living in China or Russia and then they might get a better idea of how lucky they are.

    The real causes of this looting is that the scum class have been allowed to do what they want when they want for far too long and we have paid them for it. No more. Time to send in the army. Set a deadline and say by 10pm tonight any looters will be shot on sight. Shoot 3 or 4 live on sky news at 10:01pm and that will finish it.

    Any left wing criminal liberties advocates who disagree should have their addresses and a full break down of the contents of their homes posted on the internet. Their defence of this criminal behaviour has left the innocent people and business owners of these areas just as exposed.

    Interesting alright, as she is talking thru her ****. the are loads of deprived places with bored kids and lack of jobs etc etc all over the world but these riots in england are not because of starvation or because people are living below the poverty line.

    no one is saying there is not an underlying cause. some are saying its due to sense of entitlement mixed with a lack of responsibility. some are blaming poverty.

    People are sick of excuses. At this stage the "poor" and "disadvantaged" are given so much help it's just silly and the minute anything goes wrong for them they do something like this.

    Some people are just worthless and won't ever be anything but.
