Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

First day Eid celebrations - Manchester or Bradford?

    Assalamualakum folks!

    I'm bring the family over to England for the first and second day of Eid this year. We're flying in to Manchester. We intend to go to either Manchester or Bradford or both. Or maybe somewhere else?

    Can anyone please give me any pointers as to where is best for enjoying Eid celebrations? I've heard that Manchester has a big street celebration along the Curry Mile. I thought that would be nice, but I've been warned against it.

    Anyone know of anything else going on in Northern England for Eid? I asked on an English forum but they're all a bit prickly apparently so I shan't be posting there again.
