I want to fit 50mm Kingspan to the rear of the studded walls in my attic.
As the room is already plastered,I don't want to nail it, as it'll crack the plaster.
Does anyone know if there are any specific brackets or washers etc that can be used to screw the Insulation to the Studding.

If you're slabbing over the plastered wall, what does it matter if you crack the plaster?

But I'm not slabbing over a plastered wall,as I stated in my post.:(
I'm thinking of fixing Insulation on the REAR of a Studded Wall.

"Kingspan" is the name of a company, not the description of a particular product.
Name the product, check the home page of the manufacturer/trader to get advise.

And visit the IKEA car park (Dublin), check the ceiling there. The PU boards of this particular brand are warping, bending, shrinking, taking up water, swelling, the aluminia foil oxidising (turning from shiny to dull).

And take a few pictures for the album.

you can cut it in should a way that it sticks in the hole without fixings.

I goign to assume your talking about 50mm board insulation.

You could glue it to the studs using grigfill etc....

With ya now. Is it just 50mm insulation, or is it insulation backed plasterboard?

If its backed plasterboard, then just screw it to the studs with 70mm screws.

If its just insulation, chop it up and squeeze it in between the studs.
