I was wondering if any Gardai auctions take place in Galway? I can't seem to find any information on them from a quick google search. I presume they're in Dublin but I thought they might have been in Galway too. If anyone knows when/where that'd be great.

Call the Garda station and ask. Simple.

Google doesn't have much to say so as said, ring the station and ask.

i asked in the garda station before and they said the auction information would be in the advertiser. i never seen it there.

I know there is the wilson one but that is in dublin.

Is there not a auction in galway county itself for stolen bicycles?

    evoke

Now I genuinely have no idea how true this is, but supposedly you can buy bikes from the station itself. This is what a friend told me - apparently they have to make sure that it's been there a certain length of time to give the original owner the chance to collect it.

Like I said, no idea how true it is!

OP, it's been three days..did you get an answer from the station yet?

Sorry for the late reply, I called up the sergeant in charge.

They now only sell their bikes to a guy in Cork in lots, most are in ill-repair so he either fixes them up or sells them for parts. You cannot buy a bike from the station nor will there be any future auctions.

Guess thats an end to this thread then!
