    Hi Folks,

I’ve recently discovered that You Tube is not just good for Ninja Cats and really unfunny parodies of Lady Gaga songs….

..There’s also some damn good documentaries on there.

So with that in mind please post one’s you may find interesting.

    I’ll get started.

    All the best

    B

    The Game Documentary

    2 Pac Hip Hop Genius

*Note above link has documentaries in related videos for: 50 Cent, Eminem, Biggy

I have seen The Game one but stumbled on the other ones when searching for this rap history documentary I've seen countless times but forget what it's called. It's really probably the most must see documentary for all the hardcore hip hop heads. If I remember the name I'll post it here!

Also anyone who wants to go even FURTHER!! into rap and the art should check out the book "How to Rap: The Art and Science of the Hip-Hop MC" by Paul Edwards. It features alot of big rappers breaking it down.

Delivering countless candid and exclusive first-person insights from interviews with more than one hundred of the most innovative artists, author Paul Edwards examines the dynamics of rap from every region and in every form--mainstream and underground, current and classic—and covers everything from content and flow to rhythm and delivery. Great documentary about the evolution of hip-hop deejaying, with the likes of preemo, mixmaster mike, Qbert, well worth a peep.

They had beef 1,2&3 up but must have taken them down. "The show" is a good documentary along with "backstage". The art of 16 bars is another good one.
