Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey all,

I'm thinking of doing a TEFL course of some sort, but there seems to be an awful lot of options out there, and I'm at a loss as to where to start. I want the option to teach abroad, particularly in France if possible, but also in language schools here at home. A friend of mine did an intensive one month course in Dublin and, from the positions he's been offered, it seems to have been an excellent choice. However, it was quite expensive, and as I'm on a budget, and also constrained by location (Kilkenny), I'm not sure if I'd be able to follow his lead. That got me thinking about online courses, but as good as they say they are, I can't believe that there's not a significant difference in quality between an intensive one month course, and an online one done after Neighbours and before Emmerdale!

Also, the whole CELT/ACELS thing is a tad confusing. I'd appreciate if people in the know could give me a few pointers here. Apologies if this is in the wrong place, but I couldn't find a dedicated forum.
