Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Need a quick help from the experts here.

A friend of mine is in US and he can pick up one of these for me today:
    1. Asus Transformer - $394
    2. Acer Iconica A500 - $399

The more I am reading on the net and the more I am getting confused.

It looks like Asus has better screen but then Acer has better camera with flash and USB 2.0 port.

I am not sure about the build quality, some forums suggest Asus is better where as some suggest Acer has a better build quality.

I need to decide before 5pm today.

Anyone here who have used both of these? Any suggestions?

Ipad2 is another option (lacks flash player).

I have the Acer (bought in the USA)

The build quality is top notch and the USB port seals the deal for me. I haven't seen the Asus so I can't comment on that.
The camera is fine, not brilliant but ok. You're unlikely to use it as a camera anyway (you'll look and feel like a muppet waving it around).

The toshiba thrive is another option, I think it's more or less like the Acer but it has full hdmi out (as opposed to mini hdmi out on the acer) and i think it might have 2 usb ports.
