    You should go with a beefier PSU for 2 6950s, this XFX 850W is a good deal.

    Get the retail 2500k, it has a longer warranty and comes in a sealed box.

    I've heard a lot of bad things about the reliability of that new sandforce controller, the Crucial M4 128GB is a good alternative.

    Edit to add:

    Is there any particular reason that you need 16gigs of RAM with high heatspreaders? If not you should go for 8gigs of standard height ram, that's plenty.

    Regarding the 16GB of ram I normally develop under Linux and do testing in a virtual machine for windows, etc.
