Wusthof knives sales in brown thomas

    Hi all,


    My friends are getting married and they asked for a good set of knives as a present

    After much searching on these forums I thought Wusthof would be the best bet

    Best price on amazon was over 250 sterling for a 7 knife set with block

    Then, today I decided to check bricks and mortar in Dublin.

    Found brown Thomas and a place on Pearse street from the wusthof site

    Headed to BT first and saw the 7 block set ( there were 2styles available ) for 200 euro

    Jumped at the offer and now I'm sorted for the wedding

    Just though I'd share in case anyone was thinking of investing in some good knives

    Also saw a set of Global knives too reduced from 850 to 400

    Word or warning, they are very very sharp.
    nearly lost my thumb to the bread knife :eek:
