Nah ... it’s just lazy ... he thinks the last one was a success as people laughed at it .. it’s Ben swinging a hurl while giving empty sound bites about all the other political parties .. no indication of anything he stands for apart from his pet peeve of actually paying back the money you borrowed

Ben has it on good authority that there is a lot of shredding going on in Leinster house in anticipation of SF getting in to government .

He has also said that he is definitely giving up politics this time - until the next time I suppose

    What a loss to politics.
He appears to be championing SF now.

The commercial arm of the Hub, Lay Litigation Ireland, are running another seminar, this time in Carlingford of all places. Come for the oysters, stay for the tips on losing your house in a protracted and expensive manner. €50 quid a head, which could come in handy as they've now moved out of the Jerry Beades (in receivership) property they shared with the Hub.

Now they've relocated to the delightfully insane Mary Mall, on 56 Mary Street. Something that's slipped by me with Neil from LLI is that he's another one from the building game (building supplies, under his former name of Neil Armstrong) rather than the Gaelicised version he goes by now (McThreánlámh). Previously, in this article (whether a journalistic mistake or something more sinister), the noted non-astronaut is held out as a solicitor. The threatened proceedings were never filed in the High Court, wonder why?

Meanwhile the National Citizens Movement (usual home of Dermot Murphy & failed challengers of Irish Water) have now branched out and become anti-vaxxers. As usual, they'll be marching on the High Court.

Have Eye-Eye managed to arrest anyone this week yet?

There's a chance that might have been an invalid electricity bill where wind farms were used in generating the power. Gerry doesn't like wind farms.

Reading between the lines, ESB-gate is more a dispute with "former comrades" who may have pursued a different commercial model.

I've also just realised that the reason LLI moved premises again recently was because Mary Mall was taken over by a receiver. If only there had been access to some top class legal advice...
The saga of the Siege of Mary Mall draws to a close, with an unsuccessful personal injuries action against the security guards hired by the receivers. It should be pointed out that the plaintiff was professionally represented in this matter and "denied she had been part of a threatening and menacing crowd outside the mall on January 12th, 2016 and said she had only wished to assist tenants recover equipment".

It should also be noted that the video linked to in one of the above posts has since been deleted.

For those that never visited the place, Mary Mall was a bonkers little warren of hastily constructed wooden "shop units" within a larger space. The tenants included Lay Litigation Ireland, a teeth whitening clinic you might want to avoid, various laser-based clinics, supplement hawkers etc.

    Correct. Link has been removed.
Hard to fathom that folk would part with their cash still for this legal quackery.
    Will all end in tears.

Jamie McLoughlin, her brother, said the family was aware a High Court order for possession had been delivered to the city sheriff but no-one had known when it would be executed. He said repayments had not been made on a mortgage for 16 years and he had used rents from tenants to defray other bills.

    ffs

The Dublin Airport cap is damaging the economy of Ireland as a whole, and must be scrapped forthwith.

seems like there was loads of fun in Kilmuckridge yesterday.
Seems the Kilmuckridge matter made the times today too. Jerry Beades getting his hand in now too. Never one to miss an oppurtunity to stand up for a developer.

Once again, the siege of Kilmuckridge has given rise to a High Court Judgment.

As reported, Jerry Beades and Ben Gilroy have "lent their support" here, with little success.

Over 40 appearances in the High Court. 3 sets of (unsuccessful) proceedings to challenge the appointment of the receiver. Only now is an Isaac Wunder order being threatened.
Would you believe, the Siege of Kilmuckridge is still wasting the time of the High Court?

Pilkington J noted 34 orders arising from 60 court applications and the Corrigans were still salty about the receiver being appointed. Along with a McKenzie friend, such dynamite legal strategies being raised were:
    1. A Receiver with a capital R is different from a receiver with a lower case r
    2. The placement of full stops in plc
    3. Attempting to charge the receivers €2 million each time they enter the property
The receivership has apparently cost more than €1 million.

Somebody tell the WHO quickly please!

No doubt this will be manana from heaven for some of our favourite Freeman types who are also in general, antivaxxers and sellers of lotion and potions.

Has anybody else noticed a correlation?

    What's the birth cert scam?

And how can I get in on it?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,686 ✭✭✭whippet

it's some nonsense about how in the 1930's the US was bankrupt and the birth cert was a way for the US Government to sell everyone in to slavery as collateral against something
    its a classic freeman argument

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ME7K6P7hlko

He bases his de-registration to the 'fact' that the word register is derived from 'Regal' so when you register anything you are handing over ownership to the crown. So now we have a better understanding as to why Ben is so unsuccessful in courts and end up having to apologise over and over again - Register is actually derived from from Old French regestre or medieval Latin regestrum, registrum, alteration of regestum, singular of late Latin regesta ‘things recorded’, from regerere ‘enter, record’. As for the thread favourite - he is gone full anti-vaxxers.

The absolute rubbish he has been saying a sharing is bordering on dangerous to the public. Even one video he shared had a warning on it from Facebook that it was screened and found to have fake news in it.

Of course his lapping minions see this warning as proof that it is real !!

Allen J published a judgment dealing with the Coyles attempts to fight the liquidators over the last few years.

That would be the second judgment Allen J had to deliver in relation to this lot, the first involved an incredibly bitter landlord and tenant dispute over 2 car parking spaces.
Towards the end of the meeting Mr. Coyle suggested that if agreement could not be reached the matter would end up in court which, he said, would cost him €150 but [The Landlord] €50,000.
It should be noted that rates were unpaid on this particular property as well.

from having a quick glance through the reports its quite clear why The Hub would be supporting the business
