He can I believe stand in local elections, and European (as long as he is EU citizen) I think its only Dail and Presidential that a person has to be a citizen.

looking forward to some Primetime election debate ... and as much i can't tolerate Vincent Browne .. that would be a funny panel discussion!!! .. actually did Gilroy ever go on either TV3 or RTE properly? I'm just wondering do DDI just prefer their own form of Media .. Self-Backslapping Social Media and the likes of TNS Radio or what ever it's called?

If you read his blog, he seems dedicated to pushing the party out into the mainstream media... this is a guy that works for a multi-national, and previosuly worked for a Presidential candidate, who's now the Gov of California. He also has a bunch of "inspirational" quotes on his various pages that all basically say, "go big or go home"... so... I'd expect a mainstream media push... welll as much of one as they can afford...

He also seems to think it doesn't matter who you vote for... which is odd to say the least:

Contrary to what the Freemen et al would suggest, the Courts will give every possible opportunity to a person being pursued by the banks, particularly where the family home is at stake. Woe betide the Solicitor who doesn't have his act together when representing a bank against an individual and comes before a grumpy DJ (which is most of them). In those circumstances the motion (as opposed to the action) may well be struck out.

sounds like proceedings for instalment order or other enforcement measure taken in the district court. fairly severe consequences for the debtor so I imagine that the judge would want for all paperwork to be one hundred per cent...
