Hey, not sure if this is the right place or not, I was looking to get some new screens for my pc, need 2 in total. Problem is I know nothing about screens. I got 2 very old 23" ones right now and its time to upgrade to something a bit better/newer.

Looking for at least 23" got €550 to spend on them. I play a lot of FPS games and want something that will make them look good. Dunno if this will help but running 2x5850's

Any input is welcome and thanks again for taking your time to read this

    hey,

This is always a discussion .... TN panel or IPS panel or 120hz (for fps gamers)

Am looking for a new one myself ... and beying a games fanatic (fps rts) i am going for the 120 hz option this time

    This Monitor gets good reviews

IPS panels have a good picture quality ... people owning these monitors will never buy a TN monitor again, but its less suited for fast paced fps ... latency etc ... although some people dispute this

This is an IPS monitor that a lot of people like

hope it helps you a bit

I own a U2410 myself. It's actually got better latancy than the U2311. (6ms vs. 8), and it's 1920x1200. I dunno about everyone else, but I much prefer having that bit of extra vertical space. 16x9 is great for games and movies, but for work, it's a little on the wide side.

Komplett are the cheapest at the moment, though they're out of stock.

If you absolutely need two though, the U2311 is a great monitor too.

Been doing some reading of reviews today and I'm liking that Dell U2311, the lack of 3d is not an issue. Its around the right price so I can get 2. Thanks for the help guys :)
