Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I notice that a recent tread has been removed.
In this tread serious accusations have been made against an unnamed organic farmer. I took the issue up with "reiling", who wrote the piece, in a private correspondence and asked him/her to name the farmer to me. He/she refused to do so and now the tread is gone.
Unless I learn otherwise I can only conclude that yet again spurious allegations were published online.......

I requested to the Moderator that what I wrote be removed. What the moderator does with the rest of the thread is really up to him. In hindsight I realis that what I wrote portrays a poor image for Irish organic farming and it is unfair of me to portray this image to outside readers in a post like this. I am very much aware that 99.9% of Irish organic farmers have animal welfare as their number 1 priority. The food that they produce is done so with upmost care and concern and exceed the relevant standards.

As I said to you in the pm, I, along with my neighbours have relayed our concerns to the relevant authorities in the past few days and we feel that this will be sufficient. If it is not sufficient, we will take further action. However, I do not feel that discussing or resolving this on a public forum (in public or by pm) will lead to anything more than gossip and I regret having posted anything about it in the first place.
