Adverts.ie or ebay would probably be a good bet. Apart from that, not sure where in town.

Might be one floating around in one of the pawn shops.

Might have an old one in a box in the attic, your welcome to it if its still there. I'll check over the weekend.

There might be one lurking somewhere in my house. I'll get my lads to have a look later when they're back.

Found one of the very first PS1s released when i moved into my last house. Previous owner must have left it behind. Works perfectly, still play Hogs of War on it from time to time. And no OP you cant have it :)

Is it true the newest ones aren't even backwards compatible with the ps2 games? And your right about Xbox. Xbox ftw.

Theres nothing like sitting down in front of a old telly, with a real ps1 playing some classic games. Ive sunk far to many hours into Hogs of War in the last 2 years. Most modern games are too serious. PS1 games are more fun

    Oh...you mustn't have had a C64..you were...a spectrum man?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,191 ✭✭✭kensutz

Spectrum 48, 128K then moved on to the C64 when that came out. Still have them.

    Collector's items.

I wish I still had my C64. And magicland dizzy. And new Zealand story. And kenny dagleish's soccer manager. And cj's elephant antics...

But I'd trade it all...for north and south on the Amiga.

Emlyn Hughes International Soccer was the job!

Dizzy! New Zealand Story! You're bringing back some serious memories now! Always remember it was a special day for me when I got a cartridge game! :) Don't miss that whining/screeching noise from the tape loading though!

Any luck with the PS1 OP?
I thought I had one back in the parents house, you coulda had it but my bro gave it away ages ago!

Dizzy was a legend. Downloaded the emulator a while back and it still rules.
Everyone remembers flimbos quest, jaysus I used to love that .

Copying games on a twin cassette tape player!
Fast forward tape to the relevant time on the C64 tape thingy and load away.....God be with the days :D
