    Well done Mary.

Fair play to Brigeeeeeeen too, didn't expect her to be so gracious.

Did Dylan spill some of Mary's dessert down the neck of his shirt?

Some here give Bridin a hard time, but one can see she is a lovely person.

I supported Mary from the start, she seemd the most interesting when it came to the food and what she could do with it.

I reckon Dylan would like to give Mary more than the trophy if he could.

He had her picked a long time back.

In fairness she brought it on herself, constantly blowing her own trumpet.
She did it again tonight saying how lucky her husband was to find her.

    Mary for President

Happy for Mary. I hoped that she will win.

Bythe way, did you see how judges eat Mary's desert? I think they really enjoyed that dessert.

She did undercook the lamb slightly, but meat cooks a little more when left to rest, and the juices settle. She might have had a little time after she finished cooking so it wasn't terrible, but was right on the fringe.

Happy she won, all her dishes looked inventive, especially the starter and dessert and she was really consistent throughout.

She did have more time for meat to settle - how do they decide who presents to judges first?? Would imagine last dishes bit dry mybe if can't touch before present, under lamps assume. But pehaps keeping best till last...she won and right, still feel for Christine though, should have been in final but Mary winner alright!! That desert - if Nick puts on menu will have to try it!!!

Myself and a few other from the show will be doing a dining night for 100 people in November, cooking dishes we've designed ourselves, well well above 'average bistro' standard so we'll have to see how we get on wont we!

Hi Richard,Where are ye cooking? is is open to public of private event?

Saw Bridin walking into a brasserie at top of Fitzwilliam place the other evening, is she working there now? Interested to know if she switched careers after the show.

Well done to Mary. Delighted she won it. Went with her to win from the very first episode.

    Aw No MARY won??

I've been watching the show for weeks and then I completely forgot about the final last night...what a dumbass!

Don't even know if I wanna watch it now that I know Mary won, she gets on my last nerve that woman. Knew she was gonna win though...she had them under her witchy spell from the start.

the bloke was there totally as a token gesture
    way out of his league
his dishes were sh*t in comparison
should he open a restaurant / cafe as planned, i'd advise him to stick to the club sandwiches / toasties etc
